We recognize the leadership and proud legacy of service to our nation by ICE and its predecessor agencies. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors who act as ambassadors in promoting the traditions of ICE and a deeper understanding of the role ICE plays in protecting our country and its citizens. The Foundation supports numerous programs and projects through donations from individuals, corporations, and special fundraising events.
ICE Foundation Mission
About the ICE Foundation
The ICE Foundation provides broad-based support for the men and women of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, their families and communities, in their mission to provide homeland security and public safety.
Purpose of the ICE Foundation
The ICE Foundation focuses its energies and activities on public safety; local partnerships, training, and outreach among law enforcement organizations; assistance to victims of crime; and honoring the memories of fallen officers.
- Public Safety:The ICE Foundation educates the public on the dangers of crime related to our nation’s borders, and the role of the agency in enforcing Customs and Immigration laws. The ICE Foundation strives to bring awareness to a variety of domestic and international initiatives undertaken by the agency to combat criminal activity arising from the illegal movement of people and goods into, within and out of the United States.
- Partnerships, Training, and Outreach:ICE relies on its strong partnerships with other law enforcement organizations in its mission to enforce both civil and criminal laws. The Foundation supports training and outreach programs to help ICE build and maintain these important working relationships with US federal, state, local, tribal and international law enforcement partners, as well as non-government and private sector organizations. These connections are central to protecting our country’s critical infrastructure industries against attack, sabotage and exploitation, enforcing our intellectual property rights, as well as assisting ICE in identifying and removing national security threats, fugitives, and criminals in the country illegally. The Foundation also provides funds for enabling and educational needs of ICE that are not covered by federal operational funding.
- Victims and Fallen Officers:The ICE Foundation supports charitable organizations that help victims of crime, such as human trafficking and child exploitation. The Foundation also honors the memories of fallen officers and hosts the families of fallen officers at memorial events.
